Redbridge Capital was founded in 2021 to manage the combined assets of McKinnon and the family office of a Melbourne-based tech entrepreneur.

We are an investment firm that seeks to deliver outstanding risk-adjusted returns to our investors by constructing a carefully considered global portfolio of investments. We aim to achieve significant capital growth whilst preserving capital over the long-term.

As purpose-driven organisation, we are guided by the mission of our founding client, McKinnon, a philanthropic organisation.

As a truly independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organisation, we believe that real change is possible - but only if we take a long-term view in facilitating the development of political leadership, increasing public sector productivity, creating a thriving democracy and accelerating policy innovation.

Listed Companies

We focus on high quality companies that typically:

Have the ability to sustain a high return on capital (or, are on a path to do so);
Can reinvest in growth opportunities at a high incremental return; and
Have a management team with a track record of sensibly allocating capital.

Listed Equity Funds

We back highly aligned investment teams with a well-defined investment process that is repeatable and is consistently followed.

We prefer fundamental managers that run concentrated portfolios with an absolute return mentality.

Private Equity & Venture Funds

We focus on leading private equity and venture managers globally, with a preference for:

Long-term, proven track records;
Thematic investment styles; and
High alignment to investors.
Our long-term mindset and focus on secular growth themes enables us to access some of the most sought-after GPs in the market.

Co-invest and Direct Investments

We back outstanding founders who have a clear vision and demonstrate an ability to execute on their strategy, whilst delivering:

Clear product-market fit;
Large market opportunity with strong growth drivers;
Attractive unit economics; and
Operational excellence.

Hedge Funds

We seek out proven hedge fund managers that can demonstrate:

An ability to generate an uncorrelated return,
Typically with low volatility, and
Reasonable liquidity terms.
